They all stated that is a menthal case even a friend a MD. tried to convince me so. I argued with him and after 20 years of friendship I told him Addios. By accident I found Dr. Schwartz on the internet and i called him up and described him the symptoms and "Bingo" he told me that I have a rarely and miss diognized illment "maltophilia". I was verry surprized, that he hitted the nail right on the head and than I told him that before him probably 20 profesionals were unable to identify it. After his finding I explained to him that finally just couple of weeks ago they identified it what he just diagnosed. In my opinion he is deserving a medal as he is ahead of the Medical establishment and if his Licence was revoked Shame on the System. But nothing new Nikola Tesla was a genius and was called a Crackpot. I am surprised so many posters here attacking him without any bases. My friend boils all her clothes and bedding (I suggested microwaving it w/cup of water). She seems so fatigued and desparate. She also spends time in a sauna every day and says her condition has improved and has fewer sores topped w/white pus. She has collected some fibers from some of the sores, and tries to busy herself digging in her garden to distract her from feeling her skin crawl. Any suggestions? Personally, I never expected it to work because Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isn't the cause. I think it's obvious that the anchoring flagella of S. maltophilia are far too tiny to cause the crawling sensations experienced by these sufferers. I think it's safe to assume that Dr. Schwartz corrupted his cultures. With Septra and Septra DS inappropriate for "Morgellons", I think it's likely that its use has done little more than kill and mutate natural flora.
